Perfect for small rabbits. My rabbit is about 5lbs and she fits through the ramps easily. She loves this cage!!! I recommend purchasing some accessories to go with the cage that are sold separately. I like the ramp as you can set it up so they can go in and out of the cage to run around. The cage alone is not enough room for play time. You can even block off the ramps that lead from the top to the bottom and house 2 separate rabbits which I have done. Although I do recommend keeping it opened up and having the entire cage for just one. My rabbit is super happy since doing this. Perfect little blankets sold at Walmart to cover plastic bottom. Great buy!Only thing I don't like is the "ramp cozies." Definitely consider looking into a heavy duty plastic sleeve with grips for the ramps in the future.Ferrets can chew on the fabric and get it stuck in their gastrointestinal tract. Loose threads on it can also increase changes of nails getting caught and causing injury to the arm or fingers. Other than that, this thing is sturdy as crap.Had to put my rabbits in a cage set up and came across ferret nation. Cage was fairly easy to put together. Easier if you get one extra person to hold the sides while putting it together. One of the bottom trays was slightly bent but not a big deal. Cage came perfectly fine…no defects or damages. My rabbits are able to jump from tray to tray so no need for the ramps. I will be getting the add on and will probably get another ferret nation cage set up to attach next to it so that the enclosure is longer.We have a rabbitry. I purchased this last fall (a three story cage) to put in the garage for sick buns or raising orphans or such, where I want to be able to keep a close eye on them all day long. I didn't put it together until recently though when Covid19 struck, the high school closed, and we had to very quickly move all the FFA meat rabbits meant for our county fair to our house. We hurriedly put it together and ended up using it to raise a mixed litter of 12 NZs and Calis. This product was not meant for this, and there have been some challenges, but I still couldn't be more happy with my purchase. The bunnies are active and (relatively) rough, and it has held up very well. (I wouldn't recommend putting this many rabbits in this cage long term though. It really isn't large enough, but desperate times...)My daughter and I put it together in an hour or so. It wasn't hard at all. I'd read the reviews and was prepared for it to be much worse. Each level had at least one panel whose peg was not set straight. A couple of taps with a hammer straightened them and solved the problem. The final product is very sturdy and well made. The knobs on the front don't line up, but they do shut securely.It definitely needs pee guards for rabbits. The first rabbit I put in it was an older buck who potty-trained right away but even he tended to miss occasionally and poop all over the place. The younger rabbits only sort of potty-trained (they much prefer to sleep in their toilet and poop right next to it). I wrapped the cage in plastic to try to help, but I'm going to have to find a way to add pee guards for future use.I cover the pans in fleece or old towels (towels work better, more absorbent). Changing them out is pretty easy. To keep it clean now that the buns are bigger (currently 4.5 lbs), I have to change out the towels daily. It takes about 10 minutes if I move the buns first. The pans all come in and out easily.I started off having the three levels closed to each other (so 4 buns per level) but they pretty quickly figured out how to unhook the ladders so that they could go visiting. There are ways around this (turn the upper pans) but I decided to let them all live together. The holes between levels are small and I doubt they will be able to get through them for more than a few more weeks, but a mini-rex sized rabbit would do just fine. The metal ladders are great and the buns use them. The plastic ladders are crappy. The plastic ladders tie with fabric onto the cage; the buns chewed them loose. Since buns don't actually need the ladders I tossed the plastic ones.One of the reasons I wanted to try this cage was the double opening doors. I really like that. It's much easier to get a buns out than the traditional wire cage hole.The buns can go from the bottom level to the very top in no time at all. In evaluating the buns, my daughter says they've got great back muscling from all the climbing. That's definitely another benefit of this cage.Overall, I'm very pleased with this cage!My ferrets love moving between levels (I have the double deck #182). I’ve equipped it with toys, tunnels, hammocks and automatic food/water dispensers. I’m actually considering purchasing the upper cage so I can add more ferrets.This cage is perfect for my chinchillas. It gives them plenty of space to run around. Easy to assemble. Cleaning is easy with the double doors.Highly recommend these cages and this seller!! Super fast shipping also very easy to assemble and so much space.Product came in quickly, no damage to anything. I was very surprised at how easy it was to assemble. The directions were clear and easy to understand. Ok! Seems very well made and love the heavy coating on it.Only thing l do wish you made is an exterior ramp so she can go and come as she pleases. Yes, prolly wishful thinking. Overall this product is awesome, and another happy fuzzbutt!!Well after having this for a few months now , I can say it's not as good as I would of expected , yes it's fantastic for cleaning out I love how the trays come out so can wash them all down in the bath but find the litter ends up a lot on the floor around the cage and also is starting to rust slightly which isn't what you would expect from a ferret cage when not had it for so long. It's handy with the little catches for the hammocks but really tricky to put together. Think there is a few improvements needed or a good drop in price.90% of this cage is perfect. The bars are good as my ferret can't get her claws stuck and can't escape, but can stick her nose through if she likes. Water bottles and bowls clip on easily. The four floors make it so she can have her own little rooms, like one for food and toilet, one for sleeping, one for playing/hiding, etc. The doors have a good lock and the covers on the ramps are really good. The only criticisms I have on this cage are minor, and I can overlook most of them. When it arrived not all of the cage pieces fit together. Apparently this is a common problem. You have to get a rubber mallet and really hit it to get it in place. I'm not sure if they've fixed this problem and I got an older cage, but it was easy to fix once I got a mallet and just hammered it in. Some of the doors are easier to open than others. The top doors on my cage require a little more effort to pull down. That's not a huge deal, though I wish they were nice and easy like the lower doors. One of the ramps doesn't fit in properly. I couldn't seem to get the middle ramp to clip onto anything. This is another easy fix, either position it so it won't fall down or just grab a couple zip ties and attach it to the wires. So, all in all, I would say this cage has it's problems but they are very easy to overlook. The cage is a great size. The storage section is great for my big bag of litter and kibble. The removable floor trays are honest to god the best thing ever, cleaning is so easy now. Whenever I have to clean, I just put my ferret in her travel crate, take the floors out, give them a good hose and scrub, and then slide them back in with ease. I would highly recommend this for smaller businesses of ferrets. 3 or 4 might be the limit before you should get another cage, but that's just me.Great cage - Great size, very spacious and the ferret loves it. It does take someone strong to be able to hammer some parts into place, which sadly I'm not so I had to call upon the father. The cage, despite what I was told before purchasing it, can not be used without the stand. I was also charged twice for 1 item, leaving me nearly £200 down on my account, which was stressful to sort out. Swings and roundabouts.Strong, easy to put together, spacious... Beautiful and I bought the cage from SPREETAIL who were kind, considerate with a personal issue and I can't thank them enough!!!Our ferrets love this cage, there's loads of space and it's much easier to clean than others we've had before in our 12 years as owners of various ferrets. I assembled this myself without too much bother, but a rubber mallet was really required to hammer some pieces in. The package is also very heavy so having two people might make it more manageable.
