I purchased the vest for our 4 month old Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy and it's perfect!I love how easy it is to put on and the puppy doesn't mind wearing it either.The collar can be folded down and there is a small opening for the d-ring from either the collar or harness. I have a Puppia harness for him and that d-ring is exactly where the opening is.Highly recommended!I bought Two of these For my dog last Winter to help keep him warm. They are fantastic. Great softness and nice materal. They have a slot to hook the collar to the leash and have some reflective trim for night use . I highly recommend these fleeces for your dog.Very well designed, if you have a dog that doesn't like having things pulled over there heads, you will definitely enjoy the design of this jacket. It is very well made, runs pretty true to the measurements provided by the seller. My dog loves her new Jacket, it's so easy to get it on and off her without having to try and manhandle an 80+lb. Pitt-mix,lol. But seriously it's as easy as laying it across her back, very quickly and easily attach the two sides around her neck with the extremely convenient velcro closure, do the same for the chest section, and 1,2,3 it's on. She is extremely smart and has already caught on to the fact that her coat doesn't get wet if she has her jacket on. So now if the weather isnt up to her standard she will stand at the open door looking at me waiting for her jacket to be put on. Which is a massive win for us. We have spent so much money on jackets and clothing for her because her fur is very fine and quite short, I used to have a blanket dedicated to her, to help her warm up after being outside. I would also like to note that the quality of the velcro is absolutely top notch it is very very strong and keeps the jacket securely around her. The only place I couldn't give five stars is the water resistant, first off I dont understand why it's there it is a fully fleece jacket, so yes it keeps her dry as long as she isnt out in the rain or snow long enough to soak it through. So in my opinion it does exactly what one would think a fleece pullover would do. I am so so happy with my purchase, and so is Miss D, she knows right where it hangs, and unless it's an emergency, she expects to have her jacket put on her before she goes outside, and that makes me a very happy dog mom. No more shivering wet dog, Love It1?????My orders show I ordered a Bonawen fleece coat. However, my coat does not have the Bonawen logo as shown. Neither does it have the reflective edge. Those features don't happen to be important to me. If they are for you, you might need to be prepared for a return. The main feature I didn't see, but which wasn't advertised, is a hole for a harness lease connection. There was a hole for a color lease connection, but my dachshund's anatomy does not allow for a lease around his neck. So I hand to create one, and I stitched the neck hole just for extra wind protection around his neck. The size fit him as expected, and it will work for cool (but dry) winter mornings. Just make sure you get what you ordered.Dog seems to like it and it fits wellPhotographs inadd are deceptive. The collar on the jacket received is excessively large when compared to the advertised photo. There is no reflective piping on the collar, nor is there a brand tag(not important) on the product. The 2XL does fit nicely on my 58lb Staffie, and looks nice, except for the collar. I just tuck in the collar, and it doesn't interfere with his lead. The velcro holds nicely around his neck and chest areas. If the jacket had material covering his chest for warmth, with step through leg holes, it would be a better. It remains in place during the walk, and eveni vigorous play with other pups ?. Rolling around several times during play did not disturb the jackets fitment or placement. Overall, a decent fleece jacket for cooler Temps for the price.Ordered this in red, size XL for our 40 lb female cattle dog mix. Fits her generously, but I'm glad tohave it cover more of her. Easy to put on---basically a blanket that you lay over the dog, then velcro 2 flaps at the neck, and two under the rib cage. I may sew on one more strip of velcro under the rib cage flapsso that I can make it more snug. Thick, cozy fabric, great shade of red on our black and white dog.I am planning to send this back and get a Medium for my 13 pound Havanese. The Havanese is deep in the chest and long in the body like a Mini Dachshund and this small is too tight for her. I wish that the Velcro was softer too and not so strong. I can lift Eva off the floor trying to take this jacket off her because the Velcro holds so tight. I gave it 3 stars for comfort because she wanted to take this off right away. It is very soft and appears well made to me (and I sew so I know). Overall, it got 4 stars because I feel that the sizing is quite tight. Eva weighs 13 pounds, is 16" in the chest with an 11" neck and is 18" long from chest to base of tail. Why don't they make extra long dog coats?Lovely coat which looks smart on. It's not bulky so the dog doesn't get too hot, but protects her from the chill.Lovely little dog jacket and my pup looks fabulous tooLa talla si está justa pensé que vendría un poquito más grande.
