Waterproof Recliner Chair Covers - Anti-Slip Pet-Friendly Furniture Protector for Dogs & Cats - Perfect for Living Room, Bedroom, and Pet Areas

After this cover protected my recliner from a truly horrendous Cat Puke Situation, I had to write a review. Without going into gross detail, I'll just say that the cover prevented a CATastrophe .It washes perfectly in the washing machine and dries (in the dryer) back to like-new condition; the 'gripping dots' don't stick together or wrinkle up (and they do a great job keeping it in place on the chair). Very, very comfortable to sit on. Capacious pockets; the two wider ones are wide enough for file folders (I work from this chair) and the three narrower ones keep me organized.I'm even using it on a recliner whose seat is about five inches wider than the listed size and it's fine; it just doesn't cover the bit in front of the arms (which makes perfect sense; it's narrower than the chair, which I knew upfront) but the overall width over the arms is still perfect.I've been really happy with this purchase all along and now, I'm super thankful, as well. (Yes, I purchased it; I've never been lucky enough to get free products to review.)As far as a cover its affordable and stays put for the most part since there are grips on the back. I got this for our brand new recliner because I use this as my nursing chair. It looks nice and needs minimal adjustments. My only compaint is that it seems the grippers are making the material sag underneath because it grips that well and seems to pull down the chair fabric when you sit on it... the fabric we have normally wears like this but it usually takes at least a year of regular use before this begins to happen on it's own. We've only had ours 2 months... however, with a dog and newborn I don't really forsee ever removing the cover anytime soon, but if you ever plan on taking yours off be aware this will likely happen. Otherwise 4 stars as it is definitely waterproof and stays on pretty well even without a strap or anything on itI like the product and it fits well. I would give it a 5 star except for the fact that the picture shows an elastic strap that slips over the back of the chair to hold cover in place. The one I received has two vertical straps on the back that have nothing on the chair to which they can be placed. A real shame - the rest of the cover is great.Have no dislikes. Am impressed by the heavy material and the fact that you can easily remove a stain.The only thing that I could see improvement with is about 2-3 inches longer on the arm pieces and about 4-5 inches with the front piece. I hope that this would be able to be done for further purchases of this cover.It's DurableFits chair better than prior one. Unfortunately, there seems to be no standard size for a recliner. Difficult to find cover that somewhat fits.This covers my chair well. It prevents letting things you may drop go down the crack. Color is nice. Stays in place.
