We have 2 holland lop rabbits that go camping with us. We use this for them to sleep inside at night. Super easy and love how it folds in a bag for easy travel. Definitley recommend!We purchased 2 of these for our crate trained greyhounds to sleep in overnight when we brought them on vacation. We had set them up in the house for a while and thrown treats inside to get the dogs used to ducking in the doorway. Once inside, both dogs could stand up straight comfortably. The crates are easy to assemble and transport, but they are big, even though they fold flat. You need a lot of trunk/cargo space for these crates when folded up, but I think you need that for all brands.I think the small fleece crate pad that comes with the crate should have a rubber non skid backing. The slick backing to the mat did cause issues while the dogs were going in the crates, so we just used blankets instead. We bought this brand because we will not be using them constantly, and it is the tallest brand available. We are very happy with our purchase and communication with petco, the seller.This crate was ideal for what I needed it for. Perfect size for my Sheltie. Unfortunately, he didn’t like it. Nice and sturdy.Got a larger size so I could fit a disposable litter box for my cat. She doesn’t like being put in it and meows for a big till we’re on the road a ways but then she settles down and has plenty of room to lay down or curl up, even with the litter box in it. The bottom is not sturdy to hold weight so I reinforce it with cardboard or insulation foam (the stuff you get when you order a cold shipped item) to make the floor softer for my cat and this seems to give it enough stability to carry her and the litter box the short walk from the house to the car.I have 2 10-15 pound dogs and used this crate to travel 2 days in my 4 door sedan. Crate had plenty of clearance and did not block my view through the rear window. The mat provided in very thin so I bought a thicker crate mat. Dogs slept great and were comfortable.With 6 dogs in our home, crates are a must. Of course we have the usual plastic ones and two custom made solid steel crates that weigh over 100lbs each - those are for special rescue rehabilitation requirements and are big enough for two Mastiffs to lie down in. We have a large Plott Hound and a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog who travel with us fairly often and I hate dragging the big plastic Vari-Kennels on the road. I wanted a light weight, portable crate I could use with our mature, well trained traveling dogs for hotel rooms.I bought two of these - one in the 32 inch size and one in the 38 inch and I have to say that we've been seriously impressed with them after 4 months. They pop up and zip together in like two minutes flat, the side windows open for ventilation and they fold totally flat with zero real effort. The included mat is soft, but I still add our own comfy beds. Once these are in the flat carrying cases, they slide into the floorboard of our truck and luggage goes on top, dogs go on the back seat and we hit the road. I've used these crates in hotel rooms, our cabin in West Texas, at a friend's house and as shade out at the lake for my dogs.These are in no way suitable for an anxious dog, a young puppy, or an untrained dog - they are made of fabric and can be chewed through or clawed open in seconds.You need a real crate for those situations. However, for a dog that understands a crate as a temporary, safe den and place to enjoy a meal or a nap in peace without drama, these are great. Be sure to measure your dog and buy the crate that offers him a little extra room - our Swissy has the 38" unit and is very comfortable sleeping, standing and turning in it. The Plott Hound sleeps curled up in a ball and the smaller version suits him well.Perfect sleeping Crate for travel. My pup sleeps in a crate at night and the wire crate we use at home is just too big and clunky to take with us when we travel-- this is the perfect solution. It folds down nearly flat and zips neatly into a carrying case. Assembly is super easy-- just zip up the front and back and its ready to go. The mesh "windows" on all sides are great for ventilation and visibility and I really like that it has a little removable cushioned mat that we can take out to wash or use as a dog bed during the day. One big thing to note is that it is completely made out of canvas and mesh so it is not suitable for dogs that will try to escape or like to chew their crates.I ordered this so I can take my new pup to work with me when I'm out on my gardening round. As I wasn't sure how big she was going to grow I didn't want to spend too much in case I needed a bigger one later on, so bought this.I was pleasantly surprised on how easy it is to erect and how spacious it is inside once it's up. I can fit inside and so can my two grandchildren! The pup loves it and as it is lightweight I can move it around the garden chasing the shade. Very good value for money.arrived when said .so that was ..fantastic...... great !!!!! value needed straight away for my cat who has a fractured foot and has to be confined for 6 weeks ...so this is to be his daytime bed so he can look out the window and have my company all day xxIt says small but it is massif, my dog is lost in it, she is only small. This would fit the size of a boxer dog no problem. It is excellent made top quality, It is well worth the money.
